Ten new equipments important directly from China
Ten new equipments important directly from China
We have an exciting news!
Ten new sets of boards & stones are imported directly from China.
The boards has a full board (19x19) on one side and 13x13 on the other side.
Dr. Sun, a visiting professor from Fudan University in Shanghai, China, did all the work for us
to purchase & bring these heavy equipments.
I personally would like to thank him for all his efforts.
Regarding the reimbursement issue, I've discussed with Dr. Wunsch, the club advisor,
and these equipments are likely to be reimbursed by NSF (National Science Foundation).

Welcome to MST BGW!
Welcome to a blog site for Missouri University of Science & Technology Baduk/ Go/ Weiqi Club!
MST BGW is an Recognized Student Organization at Missouri University of Science & Technology. We also serve as an official Rolla chapter of AGA (American Go Association).
We welcome anyone interested in the game of Baduk/Go/Weiqi and research on computer Baduk/Go/Weiqi.
Game of Baduk is a fascinating board game!
The excitement & profoundness of the game are often compared with those of our lives.
The rules are relatively easy, so a beginner can enjoy;
the tactics & strategies are unmeasurably deep and diverse, so no one in the history of 4,000 years completely mastered the game.
The game is considered to be a wonderful "mind sports."
One can not only enjoy the game, but also develop intelligence.
It's often said one who masters Baduk enhances the understanding about profoundness of a human life.
Baduk is a name of the game called in Korea.
It is also called as Igo/Go in Japan and Weiqi in China.
How to learn the game
We suggest you to step in our regular meeting.
The club members meet on a regular basis in friendly atmosphere.
Our "starter kit" will expedite your learning curve.
